About Hopland

Sunny Hopland is a rural small town in Mendocino county with a population of about 800 and Highway 101 running through downtown. The region is largely agricultural and accommodates some tourism, especially visitors who want to explore wineries off the beaten track. As its name says it, Hopland once produced hops for beer. Today it features 5 tasting rooms for wine, 2 tap rooms for craft beers, and two legal cannabis dispensaries. Two hotels offer accommodation to the growing wedding & event scene in this picturesque area.
